Fresh Beauty Trends for Spring

The prettiest ways to channel this season’s fresh and flirty vibes.

April showers bring May flowers...and fresh and flirty makeup looks. Finally, the gloom of winter has left us, and we can spend our days soaking up the sun. Spring is essentially a rebirth, where everything seems fresh and new—including you. Show your appreciation for this season’s lively persona and adopt bright and youthful colors into your makeup routine.

Eyeshadow exists in colors other than neutrals

Safe is the word that describes a lid colored with nudes and browns. Spring is not the time to be safe, it is the time to venture out and add some color to your eyes! So, put down your NAKED pallette and pick up something more vibrant.

Try a monochromatic purple look like this one or even a bold orange or blue depending on your eye color. Vibrant eyeshadow will make your eyes pop and will turn heads. Who doesn’t want that?

Channel your inner florist and adopt petal lips

Grab inspiration from your favorite flower and apply it to your lips! Whether it be a bright pink rose or a purple hydrangea, do not shy away from bright and bold colors! Store your deep vampy winter hues away for now, and pick up some new colors that will bring more life to your face. Remember, sometimes a girl’s greatest accessory is a bold lip.

Play around with polish

Spring is a season where you can experiment with every nail color under the sun. Instead of sticking to a monochromatic theme, try painting with alternating pastels on each finger, or even try a stunning two toned nail look! There’s no such thing as a nail look that is too outlandish (except for chipped nail polish, let’s be real). Have some fun with it! Plus, striking nails are always a great conversation starter.

A bold idea: Go bare faced

Okay, before you close out of this article, listen up! For many of us fashionistas, going makeup-free sounds like some sort of a sick joke. But, this season, it is on trend. The flowers are blooming, the grass is green, the birds are chirping- all natural things are thriving. So, why shouldn’t your natural face thrive too? Spend a little bit of extra time on your skin care and you’ll be ready to take on the world, fresh-faced and free!

Take a no-regrets beauty approach to this season. Spring is a time for new beginnings, and a time for you to grow to experiment with makeup. Who knows, you may even turn out to be more confident because of it.

P.S. Don’t forget to lather up in SPF moisturizer or foundation beauties!
