A Guide to Amazon Dupes
How to look expensive for cheap.

As college students, it can be tough to afford the trends we see all over social media. It’s time to start shopping smarter, not harder- welcome to the ultimate guide to Amazon dupes.
How to Find the Perfect Dupe
Let’s start with the basics: the key to finding the best dupes starts with the perfect search. Simply searching “cool crop tops” usually won’t get you what you’re looking for. That $250 Poster Girl dress you saw on TikTok and want for a New Years’ party? I just found a perfect lookalike on Amazon for $25. Doing some light research on Instagram or TikTok will help you find exactly what you’re looking for, without breaking your bank account. Below are some of my favorite dupe findings.
Skims
Who doesn’t want a pair of Skims lounge pants or a basic ribbed tank? But does anyone really want to pay $88 for a pair of fuzzy white pants they can find on Amazon? Here’s a look and feel-like 3-piece set for you.
Poster Girl
Here’s a $27 version of the iconic cut-out Poster Girl dress we’ve been seeing everywhere.
CELINE
The Celine Cat Eye Sunglasses are quite the statement, but they’re $400. Here’s an identical pair for $14.
Lululemon
Although a lot of us live in leggings, how many hundreds of dollars are we really willing to spend just for the Lululemon logo? Sunzel makes quality leggings that look and fit exactly like the Lulu aligns we all love.
Yeezy
Kanye’s Yeezy slides can be found for $145 on StockX, but I found a pair for $29.99 on Amazon. And I can attest to this one because I own them myself. They actually look exactly the same as the real ones and are even more comfortable. You know you want them.
Why pay $150 for a pair of pants you’ll probably wear twice when you can find an identical pair on Amazon for $20? Yes, the quality may not be as great as the real item, but if it looks exactly the same on you and will be at your door in 1-3 business days, why not? The concept of dupes is not that new, but the Amazon dupe takeover is more prominent than ever right now. t’s crucial to read the reviews at the bottom of every item to make sure you’re not buying a total piece of sh*t. But if the reviews lie, you can return and get a refund for everything you buy if you’re not satisfied with your dupe. What could go wrong?
