Beginner’s Tips for Manifesting Your Future

Your dreams are just one manifestation away from reality.

Manifesting has gotten a bad rap over the last couple of years. It has been advertised on social media as some form of witchcraft where we perform rituals for our ex-lovers to come back to us or bring the dead to life. In reality, it is nothing like that at all. Manifesting is putting yourself in a positive mindset where if you believe you are doing good in the universe, the universe will reward you by helping you achieve your goals or set you on the right path. In a way manifesting can be seen as a form of religion that replaces the worship of a God with a positive belief in the universe. In other words, manifesting is just knowing what we want and leading ourselves on a focused path to get there. So where do you begin?

Vision Boards

Mood boards are essential as they create a visual representation of what we desire to have in the future. They can include many things. As for mine, I have housing decorations, fashion aesthetics, and inspirational quotes in order to keep me motivated toward my goals. Although it may seem corny, this can be done very quickly on Pinterest and it can be private for us to change and add on throughout the months and years of our life because as we change, our desires change too. If you’re feeling crafty, you can also make one using a bulletin board and magazine cut-outs or prints.

Positive Affirmations

A huge part of manifestation is having a positive mindset to continue believing in it. Sometimes, we may not realize how negative we are towards ourselves, others, or a situation until we sit back and reevaluate our mindset. Instead of thinking, I’m scared of my new internship or what if I’m not qualified for the position, think, I am excited about a new opportunity and I was selected for a reason. Subtle changes in your mentality can help you believe in yourself and your goals, and it will give you more out of manifestation since you believe you can do more.

Self-Preservation

The definition of self-preservation is understanding our own health and safety in order to know our wants and needs. The more we understand ourselves, the more we are able to know exactly what we want. Manifestation works when we match the goals we are setting for ourselves and understand what we are capable of in order to make sure we can achieve them.

Manifesting is an easy and great way to establish a positive relationship with yourself and others by practicing positive affirmations, understanding self-preservation, and creating vision boards to give us a clear idea of what we want our future to look like. Manifesting does not take much time, money, or effort to be able to integrate into your daily life, and even if some of your goals do not come to fruition, we have a positive mindset in order to redirect our present situations.
