TV Shows We’re Binging Right Now
You’re in for a treat.

With heavy rain and harsh temperatures outside, it’s no wonder we want to stay in and do nothing. Luckily, this year we’ve been blessed with good entertainment to help us pass the time. Whether it's an intense drama or a feel-good reality show, we got you covered here at U-Girl. Here are the top tv shows we’re currently binging this season:
Inventing Anna
Showrunner Shonda Rhimes is known for creating Emmy awarding TV series we all know and love like Grey's Anatomy and Bridgeton. When I saw her name in the beginning credit scene, I immediately knew I was going to be hooked—and I was right. Inventing Anna follows the story of an alleged German heiress indicted for grand larceny and multiple white-collar crimes while catching the attention of journalist Vivian Kent. Keyword alleged, meaning this woman climbed to the top of the elite NYC social scene by faking it. A real girl boss, one would say.
Love is Blind
Finding love is especially hard these days in a technologically-obsessed world where everyone seems to be attached to their phones, but finding love on a reality show is a whole other story. However, this is not your ordinary romance reality tv. The catch is you aren’t able to see your potential partners, so you’re essentially forced to build an emotional connection. This season of Love is Blind has a new cast with the same goals—to get engaged—without ever seeing the person they’re in love with. Love is Blind takes blind dates to a whole new meaning and surely makes for an interesting watch with your girlfriends.
All of Us are Dead
If you’re in the mood for something that will keep you on the edge of your seat, then this is the show for you. All of Us are Dead tells the stories of young teenagers who are attempting to escape a zombie outbreak at their high school. Think of it as The Walking Dead meets Gossip Girl. If Korea knows how to do one thing, it's telling good zombie stories. Although some scenes will surely make you squirm, there are light-hearted elements in this show that makes it the perfect balance between horror and coming of age.
Ozark
Season 4 was recently released on Netflix earlier this year, and it did not fail to disappoint. Ozark depicts the life of a family getting involved in the money laundering business while working with the Mexican drug cartel—I mean what could possibly go wrong? Fun fact, Julia Garner, who also plays Anna in Inventing Anna, won an Emmy for her outstanding performance in this show! With the star-studded cast and the jaw-dropping plot twists, it’s no wonder why Ozark is at the top of everybody’s watchlist this year.
Euphoria
Speaking of star-studded casts, if you haven’t been watching Euphoria, where have you been?! But seriously, season 2 definitely gave viewers something to talk about every week. Each episode left us with questions, almost as if Sam Levinson was purposefully teasing us. Apart from the plot, the cinematography, costumes, makeup, and music are what set Euphoria apart from other teen shows. The drama sheds light on serious topics from drug abuse to domestic violence, and every character has immense depth and an intriguing backstory. It’s safe to say Euphoria is not your regular teen angst show and one certainly worth the binge.
With that being said, go grab your popcorn and your best friend and tune in to these shows! XOXO
