Where do I even start?! The iconic and beautiful Sofia Richie tied the knot this weekend to the handsome Elliot Grainge, son of the CEO of Universal Music Group, Sir Lucian Charles Grainge. This grand wedding all took place at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the South of France. Unlike most celebrities, Richie brought us along to the four-day event and even created a TikTok in order to show us all the details. She posted “Get Ready With Me” and a step-by-step makeup routine (that I will be using from now on). From being known as Nicole Richie’s sister to Scott Disick’s ex, she took matters into her own hands to become this season’s “IT” girl.
This lavish wedding will definitely be on people’s minds for years to come. Everything from her wedding gown to her rehearsal dinner dress and to her cocktail hour dress was all head-to-toe Chanel. Her Wedding Gown was a beaded ensemble inspired by the Chanel Fall 2023 Collection. The high neckline and scalloped detailing created an elegant and sentimental look that added to the whole ambiance of the wedding. Oh, but it doesn’t end there!
For her rehearsal dinner the night earlier (which took place at a private estate, might I add), the bride wore a long-sleeve beaded dress with a high-neck with fringe detailing. Following the wedding, she stepped out in a mini-dress for her cocktail hour. This dress incorporated a 3-D floral accent in the middle of the dress, the Chanel camelia. Ugh, a girl can only dream! The magical night ended with a post-reception party that emulated a nightclub with strobe lights, upbeat tunes, and, of course, pizza.
But can we seriously talk about the elephant in the room?! I think everyone’s been talking about the bride’s style upgrade this past year or two. Her style shifted from basic LA party girl to Timeless Posh Glamour. She truly has had a glow-up both inside and out, and it is very evident that her now husband, Elliot Grainge, brings out the best in her.
