As thrifting thrives in response to fast fashion, arts and crafts are going through a resurgence as people seek the unique and tangible amidst endless artificial creativity.
For a generation born alongside the computer age, young people are ironically obsessed with all things analog. Many a vintage shoulder bag is not considered complete without:
Digital camera
Wired headphones
Polaroids
Crochet
Embroidery
Bedazzling
Paper books
Even flip phones
There is a desperate desire to connect with something tangible. AI is fun to play with and all, but it is exhausting to not know if what you’re looking at is real .
