After coming off of an unbearably cold winter, we all impatiently wait for that first random 60-degree day that brings everyone outside to the official kick-off of darty season. The ultimate goal is to create a trendy, yet comfortable look to get you through the day. Here is a guide to help you compile the perfect darty outfit.

The perfect go-to top is a flannel. It looks the cutest paired with any wash jeans and is a comfortable staple for your wardrobe. Although you can easily wear flannels on their own, you can also get creative and use it as a layering piece over a T-shirt or dress.

Another classic darty pair would be a fur vest over a simple long-sleeve. This outfit is perfect for those colder darty days during the beginning of second semester.  For the best completed look, pair this combination with any style wash jeans.

This year, denim has made a huge comeback. Whether you dig boyfriend jeans or denim skirts, you can’t make a wrong choice. Boyfriend jeans give off a trendy and low-key vibe, while denim skirts give your outfit more structure and are a little more dressed up.  Both are simple bottom choices, and are very easy to pair with any trendy or unique top.

A dress or romper is the easiest and most comfortable darty option. You can quickly throw on a simple style, and dress it up with shoes and jewelry, or you can choose a wild print and keep the your accessories simple.

As far as accessories go, it is very easy to elevate your look by adding a vibrant choker, a watch or chunky bracelets. To scale your outfit back, keep in mind that less is more. Wearing 1-2 rings, a basic necklace, or one chunky bracelet will provide classic vibes to complete your look.

Regardless of the route you decide to take, a dress or romper is a great, easy option to feel comfortable, while still looking darty-ready.

Shoes

The biggest trend at the moment would be the Adidas Superstar or Stan Smith sneakers. To achieve a trendy, yet casual look, pair these sneakers with any dress or pair of jeans.

If you are tired of the three-striped look, try out a pair of Supergas. Be sure to check out their leather sneaker that will elevate your sneaker game to a whole new level of chic.

Booties are also a great shoe choice to dress up a darty look, especially if they are suede or velvet. Whether you wear them with jeans, a skirt, or even a dress, booties can be the focal point of your outfit, and in turn make any look a bit edgier.

Keep in mind that your darty shoe will definitely get very dirty throughout the course of the day. Have designated darty shoes, and do not wear anything crazy expensive or that you really care about.
