We all have those days spent scrolling through Instagram, admiring our favorite influencers rocking trendy outfits. With the warm weather still in swing, now is the perfect time to channel your inner Danielle Bernstein and test out all of this season’s hottest trends. Looking for the perfect place to test out these new items? How about hitting the street. Here are four outfits to sport during these warm September days.

Running from spin

Seamless tops have been all the rage this season. Whether you’ve seen a simple tube top or a halter, this trend has been featured in nearly every brand’s collection. An easy way to test out these stretchy cropped tops is to pair it with a super casual look OR give it a casual vibe. Simple comfy pieces are necessary items for our busy days. Try the Out From Under Clarissa Seamless Bra in black paired with high waisted leggings like the Lululemon Aligns in Sea Steel. Not only are these leggings super soft, but they also add a perfect pop of color. As relaxed as this look may be, you’ll still be rocking a stylish ensemble. Ideal for the UGirl on-the-go, this outfit is super comfy and very easy to wear. When it gets chilly, throw on an oversized jean jacket and you’re ready to hit the streets.

The trendsetter

Every season there are a few pieces we are dying to try, but sometimes we are too scared to. Now is the perfect time to be a rebel and test out all of these bold items. Whether it is a chunky belt or funky shaped sunglasses, the best way to experiment with trendy accessories is to pair them with classic items. Your basic everyday pieces will help bring all of these hot items together. Start with a high-waisted denim skirt and a black strapless top. On breezier days, pull an oversized colored jacket out of your closet to introduce an accent color to the look. A fun belt is an easy way to step up the ensemble. Try the Silver Chain Belt from Brandy Melville to add some edge to your simple style. To top it off, wear a pair of cat eye sunnies to look extra fierce.

Back to the 70s

From neon colors to bold silhouettes, the styles from the 70s are back in full swing, and we are all for it. The statement piece of this season is super flared jeans. Celebrities like Karlie Kloss and Kylie Jenner have been seen strutting the streets in these crazy wide legged pants.

To step up your game, Slide on the Just Float On Flare Jeans from Free People. For a subtle bohemian touch, slip into a silk crop top with lace detail. To tie the entire ensemble together, pop on the Nubby Woven Panama Hat from Urban Outfitters. Whether you’re meeting friends for Sunday brunch or running your weekend errands, this outfit will definitely turn heads.

Holding onto summer

Even though it’s past Labor Day, we can still rock a pair of white jeans for a few more weeks. This summer staple is pivotal for most of our summer wardrobe yet it can still be worn on these warmer fall days. Wear a striped red and navy strapless top underneath a jean jacket for a timeless look. Clean and simple, this outfit is perfect and versatile for almost any occasion. To finish the look, slip on a pair of Tommy Hilfiger Slides.

The start of a semester is the best time of year to explore different trends. No matter where you live or are headed this fall, use the streets as your runway. Take advantage of the freedom and expand your style so that you can strut your new look down the Cuse promenade.
