Tailgate season is back, and with it comes the opportunity to showcase your personal style while also showing some love for SU. These girls have got their tailgate fashion down to a science.

Here’s a look at some of the best tailgate looks from the past few weekends:

This look is perfect for the girly girls out there who want to add their own flare to athletic apparel. Pairing a high-waisted cheerleader skirt with a bold, patterned sports bra keeps your look fun and flirty with a twist. Throw on a pair of reflective sunnies and white high tops, and you're good to go.

Nothing beats a denim skirt, let alone a bright orange one. Rocking an eye-catching skirt spices up your simplest crop tops. Tie the look together with a black belt. Forget about boring water bottles. Instead, bring along a pineapple sipper cup, and watch the compliments roll in!

It's your lucky day, because denim is blue. Stand out in a sea of orange and blue with a unique denim find, like this color-block denim skirt. Distressed denim is even hotter than the weather is at the moment. Pair a cut denim skirt with a Syracuse bandeau, and complete the look with a pair of simple white sneakers.

Our next look is simple at its core, but fashion-forward nonetheless. Following the tube top trend, pair a bright orange tube top with basic jean shorts and white kicks to create a simple yet edgy look fit for a hot tailgate at East Adams. Put on your favorite hoop earrings for some extra flare.

DIY tip: Use the excess fabric after cropping a T-shirt to create your very own tube top.

You can buy a men’s T-shirt from 3fifteen in Marshall Square Mall, and recycle it into DIY pieces like this racerback halter top. Pair your 'new' top with a lace-up denim skirt. To top off the look, throw on some cute spirit socks and Converse.

Transform any basic T-shirt into a crop top by knotting it. Pair it with your favorite pair of shorts and knee-high socks to achieve sporty vibes. Spice up your simple look with accessories, like a pair of orange transparent sunnies.

Another way to display some ‘Cuse pride is through team jerseys. Wear a Syracuse hockey jersey as an oversized dress, and finish your look off with a pair of over-the-knee boots. Not only will you look super spirited, you'll be warm at the same time.

Go out to a tailgate once, and you'll never wonder again why Syracuse ranked first place in school spirit. UGirls love to put their personal twist on 'Cuse fangear. Use these looks as inspiration to spice up your next tailgate outfit!
