Shopping for summer clothes is no easy task. Whether you're gearing up for an European vacation, another year at camp or just a relaxing summer at home, finding stylish yet affordable pieces is on every girl's wish list. Bathing suits cost a fortune, and simple silk tops can feel outrageously overpriced. That’s where Zara steps in. Their clothes are good quality, durable — and honestly make up about 90% of my wardrobe.

Zara thrives in the summertime. From their “Summer Getaway” collection to their classic linens, you can always count on them for staple summer pieces that won’t break the bank. Whatever patterns and styles are trending, Zara tends to have them in stock. In fact, as I was writing this, they even launched a new “Summer Aura” section on their website.

Summertime means bright colors. Think vibrant shades of orange and blue that are perfect for the season and can even double as college gameday staples. I just picked up two orange tops that I can’t wait to wear back at Syracuse. If you’re heading out to dinner, a Zara top can instantly elevate your look when paired with jeans or linen pants. And, if you have a special occasion coming up, you’ll find plenty of floral mini dresses or flowy maxi dresses ideal for summertime weddings.

Spending a day at the beach? Zara’s got you covered. They will blow you away with their fantastic cover-ups and accessories that you can throw on top of any swimsuit. Picture this: jelly slingback flats, a neutral bathing suit, a matching linen set and a sequin straw bucket bag. You can’t deny it —  it’s the perfect outfit for a beach day (or the perfect Instagram summer dump). You’ll look effortlessly classy and cool.

The next Zara must-have: denim. Denim shorts and jeans are always a must, and you can never go wrong with a pair from Zara. Plus, don't sleep on their comfy shorts and cotton tanks; I practically live in them during the summer.

Zara summer clothes are not exclusive to women either. My guy friends live for that linen button-up shirt (I know you know what I’m talking about). So, truly there is something in store or online for everyone!

A Zara haul won’t just score you a fresh wardrobe — it’ll give you pieces you’ll keep rewearing for seasons to come.
