Going to the SU Block Party? Here’s What to Wear...
At the end of the day, it’s all for the gram.

The Syracuse Block Party is back and better than ever, and with big names like 2Chainz and Baby Keem performing, there’s no doubt it’s going to be a wild night. Many of us haven't been to a concert since COVID hit, so it’s not surprising that we are forgetting how to put together the perfect outfit. Don’t worry, though—we’re going to give you some major style inspo so you can look fire while you dance the night away.
#1: Literally anything leather
Thank you, Julia Fox, for making black leather the hottest trend right now. There are so many ways to incorporate leather in your look to add that extra bit of edginess. You can pair some leather pants with your favorite crop top or layer an oversized leather jacket on top of a mini dress. You seriously cannot go wrong with black leather, and you’ll be guaranteed to look cool AF.
#2: Glitter, glitter, and more glitter
The time has finally come to use those face gems you bought after binge-watching Euphoria. Concerts are the perfect excuse to put on glitter everywhere, so go crazy. You can even take it further by wearing a sequined tank top or miniskirt. You can find a shirt exactly like this one on Amazon for about $20. It’s your time to shine (literally)!
#3: Keep it simple
Even if you’re going to the show solely for the music, you don’t have to sacrifice style for comfort. You can dress up an oversized band tee by pairing it with statement jewelry and cool boots or sneakers. With this outfit, you can comfortably dance all night while rocking the model-off-duty look.
#4: Bold Colors & Funky Patterns
This is not the time for plain and boring looks. Concerts are fun, and your outfit should embrace that youthfulness. Opt for something more colorful and a little out there—something you would never wear to your 9 a.m. lecture. Seriously, your Snapchat memories will thank you.
We all know that when you look good, you feel good. So, at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is that you feel confident in whatever you wear. Whether you're going for Baby Keem, the mems, or the Instagram pictures, you might as well show up to show out. Mark your calendars, and we’ll see you there!
