What to Buy at Zara This Season

It’s time to stop what you're doing and run, don’t walk to Zara. It’s sale season baby, and I’ve got you covered with this Summer’s must-haves before the season ends. As someone who works there, I’ve curated a list of items that everyone should have in their closet. From basics to formal wear, there’s something for everyone.
Basics
To start, let’s get down to the basics! Zara’s “Limitless Contour Collection” offers a wide variety of pieces that are not only affordable, but also look great with anything (hell yeah).
This black “Seamless Top” is one of my favorite basics from the collection. It comes in four different colors (I may or may not own all four colors), and has a super-soft material that makes it comfortable to wear all day. I love how versatile this piece is and will usually pair it with either some basic sweatpants or with jeans. If you’re going out, try throwing a button-up shirt over it to give this basic top a more classy look. Like, how easy is that?! Also, pairing the top with Zara’s “Seamless Bike Shorts” would make an incredible workout ‘fit!
Jeans
How can I make a Zara style guide and not include their amazing jeans?! There are so many different types, made fit for any occasion. You may have seen the Zara “Wide Leg” jeans all over TikTok, and let me tell you, the hype is real. The high waist makes it very flattering on the hips and the wide leg gives the jeans a very chic look. If you’re on the shorter side like me, maybe opt for the cropped version so you don’t have to worry about them dragging on the floor. For all of my tall girls out there, “The 90’s Full Length” jeans are the way to go. The high-rise, slim fit with a subtle wide leg at the bottom is perfect for showing off your long legs (so jealous).
Dresses
These two dresses are flying off the shelves right now! The “Knit Halter Dress” is my absolute favorite piece at the moment. The floral print is so eye-catching, and the halter neck is very flattering around the chest area. I love wearing this dress with white sneakers and layered necklaces. It’s a perfect look for beach days and date nights.
The “Satin-Effect Dress” is unlike anything we’ve seen before. Customers always ask if we have more in stock because everyone wants this dress. Satin dresses are so in right now anyway, but this dress in particular, comes with a fun floral print and the word LOVE printed on the side (such a cute touch!). Personally, I would wear this piece with square-toe heeled sandals and a mini purse for a girl’s night out.
Going out
As you can probably tell, I absolutely love floral prints, and this “Floral Print Crop Top” is no exception. The various shades of blue gorgeously compliment the white flowers, and the criss-crossed open back gives this piece a flirty touch; also perfect for date nights. I would style this top with white wide-leg jeans and platform sneakers to complete the look. Square-toe heels are definitely the moment right now, and the “Heeled Leather Square Toe Sandals” are my favorites. They’re simple yet stylish, perfect for going out, and so easy to walk in. Lately, I’ve been pairing these sandals with leather pants and a corset top (my go-to Friday night outfit atm).
Zara has truly upped their game this season, giving us so many pieces to choose from with a wide array of colors. Narrowing down my favorites was a hard task to take on, but I managed to pull through and share what this season’s must-haves are. Happy shopping!
