Since the winter season is in full swing and the weather is getting colder each day, it’s safe to say that most of us are going through summer withdrawals right now. Lucky for you, we’ve got an easy fix: cocktails. The following drinks will make you feel warm and fuzzy AND transport you back in time to when we didn’t have to wear three layers outside. So, keep reading for drinks inspired by the ultimate summer vibe: A Euro Summer. Because nothing chases the cold away like jet setting across the ocean.
Pornstar Martini
While this drink was invented in a bar in London, the ‘PoMa’ is widely known in the streets of Amsterdam. You won’t find a terrace along the canals that doesn’t have this delicious drink on its menu.
Ingredients:
1 oz vanilla vodka
1.5 oz passion fruit puree/juice
1.5 oz prosecco
Lime juice
Egg whites
½ passion fruit
Supplies:
Chilled martini glass
Small/shot glass
Cocktail shaker
Bar measure
Ice cubes
Instructions:
Grab your cocktail shaker and add the vanilla vodka and passion fruit puree/juice.
Add the lime juice and egg whites to your taste.
First, dry shake (without ice) the mixture until it is starting to foam.
Add ice cubes to the shaker for a wet shake.
Shake firmly until the shaker gets a layer of frost.
Pour the drink without ice into a chilled martini glass.
Cut a passion fruit in half and place it in the martini glass.
Serve with a small glass of prosecco.

Limoncello Spritz
This refreshing cocktail originates from the Italian Amalfi Coast and is perfect for enjoying in the warm weather. The first sip will transport you to the streets of Positano (or your semester abroad in Florence).
Ingredients:
2 oz limoncello
3 oz prosecco
Sparkling water 1 oz (or Sprite/7Up for a sweeter taste)
Lemon and mint, to garnish
Supplies:
Copa glass (a red wine glass is sufficient)
Bar spoon
Bar measure
Ice cubes
Instructions:
Grab a copa glass with ice.
Add the limoncello, prosecco and sparkling water with a bar measure into the glass.
Stir well with a bar spoon to mix.
Garnish the glass with lemon slices and mint leaves.
Cin cin!
Espresso Martini
It may look like a Guiness, but this drink is 100% for the girls. Our Vodka Red Bull days are over because this delicious British cocktail is going to change your life.
Ingredients:
1 oz Vodka (or vanilla vodka for a sweeter taste)
1 oz coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa or Tia Maria)
1 espresso
Coffee beans, to garnish
Optional: simple syrup to taste
Supplies:
Martini glass
Cocktail shaker
Bar measure
Cocktail strainer
Ice cubes
Instructions:
Brew a cup of espresso.
Using your bar measure, pour the espresso, coffee liqueur and vodka into a shaker with ice.
Shake firmly until a layer of frost appears on your shaker.
By using the cocktail strainer, pour the mixture into your martini glass.
Garnish the drink with 3 coffee beans.

Sangria
This Spanish and Portuguese beverage is the only way to drink wine. It’s fresh, summery, and an excuse to pretend you’re in Madrid. What’s not to love?
Ingredients:
½ bottle of Spanish red wine
3.5 oz of sweet Portuguese portwine
5 oz sparkling lemonade
Sliced summer fruit, such as melons, oranges and grapes
Optional: 3.5 oz Triple Sec or Licor 43
Supplies:
Pitcher
Bar measure
Ice cubes
Instructions:
Start with a pitcher and fill it about half full with ice cubes.
Add the fruit and liquids to taste and stir to combine.
Carefully pour the sangria into small glasses.
