For anyone that is even slightly interested in styling hair, you MUST go out and purchase the Dyson Hair Wrap. This product is not like any other because it is not just a single tool… it is seven different attachments in one!
For the longest time, I saw this ~stylist~ all over Tik Tok, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and every other social media platform. But I was so used to my typical hair routine that I didn't feel like messing anything up. That was until I finally bit the bullet and bought this mind-blowing machine. I was in shock when I opened my package to a huge brown box with adorable wrapping. I immediately began messing around with each part and found myself absolutely loving this product. Although there isn't one specific order or way to use the Dyson Hair Wrap, below are some tips and tricks that helped me achieve a beautiful blowout from home!
I first started using this tool my hair was very wet, so I took the blow dryer piece and began waving the wand all around my head. It is meant to take your hair from the dripping wet shower stage to damp hair. The blow-drying step can take anywhere between ten and twenty minutes based on the length and thickness of your hair.
Once your hair is somewhat dry, you can use one of the flat bristle brushes. Depending on the thickness and consistency of your hair, choose which brush will work the best. The bristle brush helps to take out the frizz and puffiness from the first step of blow-drying.
Once you feel better about your straight hair, you can start to use the round circle brush. I find this step to be so important because it helps bring back volume. To avoid flatness I often take the circle brush and make some curtain bangs and small curls at the bottom. This tool also helps to get your hair completely dry and smooth.
The best and final step of how to use a Dyson begins with the curlers. It definitely takes time to learn the correct direction to curl and style, but it is so worth it. First, you start off with a strand of hair and let the barrel wrap the hair around. The air that is flowing will usually catch the strand so it doesn’t take a lot of effort. Once your hair is in the curler leave it for about fifteen seconds. Once time is up, change the heat from hot to cold to help hold the curl in place. This cold air helps people with thin hair gain thickness and it makes the curls last longer. After around five seconds, you can take the curl out and watch the magic happen. A stunning bouncy curl will fall right out and after some time you will have a full head of glamorous and shiny curls!
The Dyson is definitely not an easy task for the basic girl, however, it truly will change your hair (and your life!). Say goodbye to expensive blowouts and have fun experimenting at home. Make sure to try different tools and look back at the guide for any tricks and tips. Have fun exploring and go get yourself a Dyson hair wrap!
