Chloe Cherry’s Wild Journey from Adult Film Star to Supermodel
If anyone can do it, it’s Miss Cherry.

I think we all remember the first time we saw Chloe Cherry as Faye on Euphoria. Whether she’s stuck in your mind because of her iconic lips, her unique style, or her very quotable line—“It’s f*cking New Years? I swear, my boyfriend doesn’t tell me anything”—it was clear from her very first scene she had an “it” factor that quickly got people’s attention. However, I doubt even Cherry herself could have predicted her journey from adult film sets to the NYFW runway.
Cherry starred in around 200 adult films before joining the Euphoria cast—whether you love or hate her, you have to respect the hustle. Euphoria Director, Sam Levinson, originally recruited Cherry for season two because of her online personality; however, the irony is that Cherry played Jules in an *adult* parody of the show before she was cast as Faye. How about that for manifestation?
Only a few months after season two ended, Cherry was chosen by up-and-coming brands Parade and ACE for their new campaigns. They were heavily interested in using her unique bimbo-Barbie-Y2K aesthetic to add some freshness and novelty to their brands. Cherry bases her signature look on Bratz Dolls, specifically Chloe, and it’s safe to say she pulls it off. She prioritizes an aesthetic full of spunk, color, and youth, which many brands are drawn to. The fashion industry can get stale sometimes, and Chloe Cherry has been a breath of fresh air for designers and companies that wish to modernize.
After being signed by the Britsh modeling agency Anti-Agency London in January 2022, Cherry quickly broke into the world of high fashion during the New York and London Fashion Weeks. She modeled for a variety of well-known designers such as LaQuan Smith (where Julia Fox also made an appearance), David Koma, Chet Lo, and Alessandra Rich. While at the events, she was dressed by stylist Tabitha Sanchez, who she met through Instagram. Sanchez has been known to style a myriad of Tik Tok stars, including Lil Huddy.
The overnight supermodel has been absolutely reveling in the high-fashion scene. In an article about her time in the industry, she told Footwear News, “It feels so great, it feels amazing. I’m so, so honored to be welcomed into it. It’s my favorite place that I’ve ever been in my life.”
Cherry’s emergence into the coveted high-fashion industry was meaningful not only to Cherry herself but to sex workers everywhere. Designers often take inspiration from BDSM and kink culture while actively shunning real-life workers from the industry. Cherry’s modeling career, however, has shown that sex workers have a place in fashion and should no longer be marginalized within the space.
This past summer, Cherry’s famous lips were on full display in Urban Decay’s Vice Lip Bond liquid lipstick campaign, a collection that embraces the edge and seduction the model is known for. One part of the campaign is called “Chloe Cherry’s Lightly Fictionalized Memoir” in which she’s seen wearing Urban Decay’s lipstick while walking through a storm and dunking her head into a bowl of water to show off the lipstick’s durability.
The comments under this video on Cherry’s Instagram are enough to show the mixed feelings people have about her. While one comment says “I AM F***ING SOLD,” the one underneath reads “You look like a puffer fish.” Sure, not everyone loves her look, but who better to promote lipstick than the woman with the most talked-about lips in the industry?
Most recently, Cherry is featured in Steve Madden’s “Maddenwood” campaign alongside Latto and Bella Poarch. Cherry and “Maddenwood” are a match made in heaven, as she perfectly fits the shoe company’s retro and eccentric aesthetic. There’s also a section on Steve Madden’s website where you can shop Cherry’s favorite styles, which is absolutely filled with black leather.
It seems as if nobody can get enough of Chloe Cherry (including us!). Brands chase her, fans religiously follow her every move, and even casual “Euphoria” viewers are drawn in by her charm. Cherry is actively breaking the boundaries of what it means to be an actress and model, and paving the way for sex workers to become more than a stigma. Whether she’s starring in a new campaign or coming back as Faye for “Euphoria” season three, we can’t wait to see what she does next.
