It’s fall. Everyone loves fall. The leaves, the chilly air, the movies, and the warm sweaters. Since its sweater weather, and cozy season, here are some good date ideas to do with your partner during these next few months!

  1. Fall movie night.

This is a given. Nothing is better than a night in with good snacks, blankets, and a fall movie. You can watch halloween movies, like Hocus Pocus or Scream, or movies that encapsulate that fall vibe, like When Harry Met Sally.

  1. Green Lakes State Park

Hitting up a state park is a great idea before it gets too chilly. Whether its going for a photo-op, or taking in the scenery with your partner, the views at Green Lakes are unmatched. Soak it up in the breezy weather and air.

  1. Library Date

Fall calls for studying. A good idea is hitting up Bird or Carnegie with your partner. You can bring a fall drink, like cider or a latte, and lock in. This can help you have your Rory Gilmore fall while also spending time with the one you love most. It is also a great way to not get behind on class and work while having fun!

  1. Tim's Pumpkin Patch

Nothing calls for fall more than a pumpkin patch. Head over to Tim’s Pumpkin Patch with your guy or gal and pick up some pumpkins to give your home (or dorm) a fun fall vibe! Again, this is also fun with a fall drink.

  1. Craft Store Run

Just like picking up some pumpkins for fall decor, head over to your local craft store with your partner and get some cool materials to make DIY’s. You can do wreaths, decorate candle tins, make garlands, and more! This is a fun way to create a fall atmosphere and also find time to talk with your significant other.

Fall can be brutal, but these ideas will make it fun! Even though the sun is setting earlier, and the temperature is colder, going out with your partner can help tone down those feelings of sadness and despair. I hope you try at least one–or all.
