Exploring a Cute Coffee Shop in 'Cuse
There’s more to coffee than Dunkin’ and Starbucks.

We know— getting an iced latte in Schine or on Marshall Street gets old.
Cafe Kubal is always good but we have found an exciting new option connected to one of ’Cuse’s apartment buildings. We need places like this for a sweet escape from campus— and, of course, a very picturesque meal!
Just below The 505 on Walnut hides Peaks Coffee Company, a chic and delicious spot that will crush your caffeine fix. From its aesthetically pleasing interior to its great menu, Peaks might just have it all. The long and hard search for a trendy spot like this in Syracuse is over.
Coffee:
Here is their iced latte, chai latte and vanilla latte. These drinks may be basic, but who cares when it tastes this good! With the flavor and the freshness of the coffee, you can tell they roast it locally.
Biscuits & jam:
Another delicious option is their biscuits and jam meal. Served on warm, gooey biscuits and topped with fresh jam, this comfort breakfast treat is to die for! And for those UGirls who follow a vegan diet, they will accommodate you upon request.
Blueberry scone:
It’s hard to go wrong with scones! Peaks Coffee’s blueberry scone is no exception. With tons of bakery options separate from their menu, there is something for everyone. Not to mention, their entire bakery is vegan!
Avocado toast:
Peaks offers two styles of avocado toast. The regular one is topped with red pepper flakes and is perfect for a savory/spicy breakfast. Their other option is a seasonal avocado toast, sprinkled with pomegranate and goat cheese.
Whether you’re going for a brunch with friends or a quick coffee before class, Peaks is a cute and fresh option for getting that big city cafe feeling with some good eats and ideal pricing!
