It’s finally everyone’s favorite time of the year… Juice Jam! Due to COVID-19, the event had to take place virtually, but it was still as memorable as ever. Featuring up-and-coming band Beach Bunny, Grammy-nominated artist Ari Lennox, and BET award-winning artist A Boogie wit da Hoodie, University Union did it again with another amazing lineup. Check out University Girl’s exclusive virtual take on the action!

To start off the show, American indie pop band Beach Bunny performed some of their biggest hits. Lili Trifilio originally started the band as a bedroom-based solo project back in 2015. In 2017, the band expanded into a four person group, with Trifilio on vocals, Matt Henkels on guitar, Anthony Vaccaro on bass, and Jon Alvarado on drums. The band is best known for their song “Prom Queen,” which went viral on TikTok. Their songs are the perfect vibe to listen to when chilling, studying, or even just walking to class.

Next up was the amazing Ari Lennox. You’ve probably already heard some of her well known songs like “BUSSIT,” “Shea Butter Baby,” and “Whipped Cream.” She performed as an opening act on J. Cole’s “4 Your Eyez Only Tour,” and even became the first female artist to be signed to his record label, Dreamville Records. Featured on songs with Ty Dolla $ign, Doja Cat, and Dreezy, Ari is definitely someone you should be on the lookout for because she’s going to be on top of every Billboard chart very soon.

To end the show was the man himself, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, aka Julius Dubose. His album “Hoodie Szn” debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Top 200 Year-End chart, and became one of the most played albums in 2019. Working with big names like Chris Brown, Drake, and 21 Savage, he has definitely made a name for himself. Last night, he performed hits “Look Back at It” and “Drowning,” and even brought out Trap Manny for “Hit Em Up.” His songs will definitely get you hype for tailgates, games, and parties!

Make sure to add all of these artists to your Spotify playlists because their songs will make everyone want to give you the aux!
