Girl’s weekend? Birthday weekend? Need an adventure? We’ve got an all-in-one travel plan for you to explore the city that never sleeps! Grab some friends, get out a calendar, and start planning! We’ve included a few of our favorite restaurants and tourist spots to get you started on a weekend you won’t forget!
Black Tap:
Locations: SoHo 35th & Midtown
Open for lunch and dinner, but fills up fast with no reservations, so the earlier the better. The signature burgers are whimsical and delicious! Protip: Grab a friend to split a milkshake for dessert!
Max Brenners:
Locations: Broadway
Known for their delicious chocolate treats, it’s the best place for dessert fondue, crepe, or a shot of chocolate. Warm-up while walking around the city with milk, dark, or white chocolate hot cocoa. In the mood for brunch? Its brunch options are always raved about. A sweets lover’s heaven!
Sugar Factory:
Location: Meatpacking district
Speaking of sugar, the Sugar Factory is an Instagram-worthy restaurant with drool-worthy food and out of this world drinks. A must-order is any one of the Goblets Sugar Factory Signature Drinks whether it is The Drake, Lollipop Passion, or The Watermelon Patch.
Walk the High Line:
Location: West Side of Manhattan
Only a few years old, the New York City High Line is an elevated park stretch of one and a half miles long overlooking the city. A former railroad track, this scenic landscape is gorgeous to walk around, no matter the season. Small artists display their work alongside the path for the perfect shot for your IG story.
For a little culture, visit the MET:
Location: 100 5th Ave
The Metropolitan Museum of Art is world-renowned, and you can check out the exhibit specials when you are there. Plus, it’s the perfect place for re-enacting Gossip Girl photoshoots on the steps.
M&M World:
Location: Time Square
Get pounds on pounds on pounds of M&Ms at the three-level M&M store. They have exclusive flavors, as well as customizable M&Ms you can make for a friend (the perfect present!).
Of course, we can’t forget about shopping:
SoHo and the Meatpacking District have the best boutiques to shop at. The streets are artistic and charming, and the cute coffee shops and restaurants around are full of foodie-original recipes. Visiting the Chelsea Market in the Meatpacking District, an old factory building turned into pop-up restaurants and small local artists’ shops.
New York City is full of opportunities to discover your go-to spots! Enjoy planning your trip!
