Kristin Juszcyk’s Takeover on NFL Fashion

Elevating our gameday wardrobe.

by BECCA CARR ★ FEBRUARY 25, 2024

Kristin Juszcyk does not miss. Designer and NFL WAG (wife and girlfriend), Kristin Juszcyk has reinvented what it means to dress up on game day with stylish jersey winter puffers for the cold and patchwork designs that show love for our favorite players. Not only is she the most sought-after designer by WAGS, but her designs have created awe in female fans who wish to elevate their game day wardrobe; especially for our most notable WAGs like Taylor Swift, Brittany Mahomes, Simone Biles, and Olivia Culpo. Her designs are completely customized, catering to each significant other's desired jersey number. Juszcyk is taking the gameday wear by storm and watching her come up with new designs has been fascinating.

If there’s anything I love as a Philly sports fan, it’s gameday. Unfortunately, I have never seemed to rise to the occasion when it comes to my gameday outfits at bars or games, and I constantly resort to the “let’s do a laid-back look,” which ultimately turns into the infamous Adam Sandler outfit. Sometimes I even end up close to a Jason Kelce outfit, where I have made the unfortunate yet inevitable decision of wearing a jersey, jeans, and sandals. Juszcyk has introduced new and innovative gameday wear that prevents us girls from having to awkwardly tie our jerseys into a knot or do the exhausted open jersey with a crop top underneath. Historically, gameday clothing for women has not been the most appealing. Haven’t we all struggled trying to work with the awkward fabric of a jersey? Juszcyk has revolutionized our gameday wardrobes, and to see a female designer and NFL WAG behind these designs is truly game-changing (pun intended).

The Art of Upcycling

Juszcyk has mastered the art of upcycling old outfits into new innovative designs. In the above image, we see she took a collection of all of the numbers her husband, Kyle Juszcyk, has played in and created a jacket that was stylish, yet meaningful to her. Juszcykis is also known for her TikTok, where she shows her design process in an engaging way with her fans and receives feedback on her designs. In addition, Juszcyk has created jackets that were auctioned to charity. One jacket she created for the auction was sold for $32,000, showing fashion's value as innovative and sustainable.

Juszcyk is the next designer of our generation. She has created a new category of gameday wear for men and women and is pushing the envelope for retailers to be more creative and cater to their markets. Thanks to WAGS like Taylor Swift and Alix Earle, the female sportswear market is on the rise, and female viewership has increased by 9%. Designer Kristin Juszcyk has influenced me to step up my gameday wear and hopefully has inspired you all to do the same.
