Spring 2021 Fashion Trends You Need To Watch Out For
Because this has been one long winter.

Swap your furs for corsets, spring is coming! I don't care if the groundhog saw his shadow or not, I will be dressing for spring the second the temperature hits 50 degrees—which, let’s face it, is basically bikini weather for Syracuse.
Here are my six spring fashion predictions and some pieces that I’ll definitely be picking up ASAP.
Everyone is feeling green this spring. My Instagram feed has been filled with shades of green, so it’s bound to blow up when the weather gets warmer. Everything from sweaters to dresses to corsets (my personal favorite) can be rocked in all of the color’s gorgeous shades.
The next trend that’s going to take spring by storm is funky prints. There was a moment where everyone rocked a neutral color palette with shades of chocolate brown, beige and black. Here’s the current state of the union: boring winter days and boring winter colors are OUT. Fun colors and prints are back IN. Some brands that are killing this trend so far are Foxis Garms, Expired Girl, and Paloma Wool.
Another trend that is already starting to pick up is quirky and unique rings. Mon Cher Moi has absolutely popped OFF with their rings, and everyone on social media has been wearing them. Buying good quality rings online can be pricey, so I also recommend checking out your local vintage shops to see what you can find.
Funky pants are here to stay. We don’t want to look like every other b*tch in the same exact pair of straight-leg jeans, so this spring, it’s a necessity to start mixing it up. My three favorite brands for unique pants right now are Jaded London, Tyler McGillivary, and I.Am.Gia.
Crochet: a summer staple. So many small brands have been making crochet clothing, and it’s about to be really big. I would definitely keep a lookout for spring knits such as dresses, bralettes, vests, etc.
Last, but certainly not least: pearls. Pearls have always been a classic. IMO, everyone needs a pearl necklace in their wardrobe (obviously doesn't need to be real). The Vivienne Westwood pearl necklace is everywhere, but who can afford that? I recommend browsing ASOS, Brandy Melville, or even Amazon to find cheaper alternatives.
We’re always looking for an excuse to shop the new trends, and spring coming so soon is obviously the right occasion. Look to your favorite small businesses, have your ring size on file, shed those 2020 sweat sets and play around with your wardrobe this spring.
