The Perfect Winter To Spring Transition Pieces

The seasons are changing and your style must too.

For many of us, the transition from winter to spring can make it hard to decide on an outfit. The fresh flower smells that arrive make you wanna reach for your shorts, but the temperatures have yet to reach above 50 degrees... so what do you do? Don’t stress. UGirl is here with some trendy pieces we think might help you during this confusing time.

Cropped Jeans

One of the easiest ways to start this transition is by letting a little ankle show. Instead of the dramatic change from pants to shorts, begin by wearing a cropped pair of jeans. If you don’t already own a pair, this look can be achieved by simply rolling up your full-length jeans to the desired length. One of our favorite ways to achieve this look is with cropped wide-legged jeans. Nothing says it’s almost time for spring fun like some fabulous, flowy denim.

Leather Layer

The confusing time between winter and spring is the perfect time to wear your leather jackets. Ditch the bulky winter coat and trade it in for something a little thinner and a little more stylish. The classic black leather jacket is always a staple for going out, but what’s even more in are the tan shades. Both tan and black leather jackets have the option to be worn open and some go below your waist for a more oversized look.

Pop of Color

If the weather is taking a bit too long to get warm and sweaters are still a must, you can still add in some spring vibes by changing up your color scheme. Forget the blacks, greys, and dark blues, and bring out the pinks, greens, and light browns. And if you’re feeling bold, try a printed sweater to fully represent the flowers of spring.

Skirts, but no Tights

Even though it’s not quite time to completely expose your bottom half, you can still wear skirts. We know many of you love sporting them with tights, but during this transitional time, we recommend opting for a longer skirt instead. Midi and maxi skirts are perfectly acceptable for this weather and totally trendy!
