Shayla is a junior at Syracuse University majoring in Public Relations with a concentration in Fashion and Beauty Communications and minoring in Information, Management and Technology. She has worked tirelessly to make the most of her time at SU.

From her very first semester, Shayla immersed herself in campus life by joining University Girl magazine, where she discovered her passion for storytelling and creative direction. Today, she is honored to serve as Editor-in-Chief, a role that has allowed her to grow as a leader while contributing to the magazine’s evolution.

Passionate about all things fashion, Shayla aspires to pursue a career in campaign management in New York City or abroad, with dreams of working at the intersection of creativity and strategy. Known for her vibrant energy and drive, she can often be found running around campus — hoping to become a familiar and friendly face to all she meets.
