Colleen Hoover Books to Dive Into Over Spring Break

Yes, she deserves the hype.

I know what you're thinking, “I will never get into reading.” And even if you want to, it seems like you never have the time. So what better way to start than over spring break? And trust me, once you read one Colleen Hoover book, you will never want to stop. Each book is filled with romance, drama, and plot twists that will keep you from being able to put it down.

Here are my top four Colleen Hoover books that you will love:

Ugly Love

This book is one of her most popular pieces, and for good reason. I literally cried when I was done reading it because I was sad it was over! From their first encounter, Miles Archer is the last person Tate Collins would ever see herself with. But after moving into her brother’s apartment, she can’t seem to get away from him. They arrange an agreement that allows them to have sex with no strings attached. Although after having spent so much time together their views of each other quickly change and the rules of the agreement become shattered. There is so much more to this not-so-average love story, as Miles’ past unravels and the name Rachel starts to become a trigger for his and Tate’s relationship…

Hopeless

I honestly don’t know what stopped me from putting this one first, because it’s literally just as good. Seventeen-year-old Sky Davis, is the “easy” girl in town, and convinces her mother to let her attend public school. There, she meets Dean Holder, your average “pretty boy.” After a few strange encounters, the two starts going on morning jogs together before school. All is well and dandy until one day Dean sees Sky come into school wearing a bracelet that infuriates him. I know what you’re thinking, “did another guy give it to her?” But no, you would never expect where it came from, and that's what makes the book so freaking interesting. Despite the sudden anger, they continue to fall for each other while getting to the bottom of the dark truth about Sky; which diminishes her capability to trust forever.

Reminders of Him

Five years and one criminal charge later, Kenna Brown returns to the town where essentially everyone despises her. In the journey to make peace and get custody of her daughter, only one person seems to not want Kenna out of their lives forever. This person goes by the name of Ledger Ward, but why does his name sound so familiar to Kenna, and why does their sudden connection cause so much stress to the others in town? Switching perspectives between the two, Hoover ensures an ending that you do not want to miss.

It Ends With Us

The one you've probably all been waiting for… and yes, it's at the bottom of my list. Although it is definitely a must-read, it is certainly not her best. This book starts out in the present day, as Lily Bloom escapes her abusive father's funeral to an apartment rooftop with an awesome view of the city. Here, Lily meets Ryle Kinacid, the hot neurosurgeon who lives in the penthouse of the apartment building. Ryle and Lily start seeing a lot more of each other and their relationship eventually starts to blossom. That is until it becomes jeopardized by the unforeseen encounter with Lily's long-lost lover, Atlas Corrigan. Who does it end with though? Guess you’ll have to find out ;)
