Five Simple Bedroom Decorations For The Holiday Season

It’s beginning to look a lot like ~quarantine~

Ladies and gentlemen, it's about that time of the year again—the holiday season! As we are about to celebrate “the most wonderful time of the year,” it's safe to say this winter may be a little different than usual due to the pandemic. To avoid the cabin fever we all experienced back in the spring, here are some tips to transform your bedroom with some festive spirit.

Throw Pillows

What better way than to spruce up your daily nap (or two... or three...) with some joyful throw pillows! From snow white neutrals to festive greens and reds, throw pillows are an affordable way to add a touch of spirit to your room.

Candles

Is this just another excuse to buy more holiday-themed candles? Possibly. But candles are such a simple way to add some holiday cheer in your space. Candles are all it takes to bring some peaceful ambience into your room. With endless scents, you’re certain to find some that will help transform your space.

Pom-Pom Garland

Nothing screams the holiday season more than festive garland! For a cheap price, you can add some life to your bland walls (and compliment the LED lights you bought impulsively during quarantine back in March). There are so many options to choose from that you won't have to worry about being judged when you keep the garland up until mid-May.

Wall Prints

Due to the pandemic, we might be sitting in our rooms for the next 2 months. It's totally normal to feel like the walls are quite literally caving in on you. Adding some festive wall art is all it takes for your room to be transformed into a cheery, winter wonderland. Websites like Redbubble or Etsy have loads of options, and you can be supporting small businesses too!

Mini Christmas Tree

This last room alteration is for the ultimate holiday season fanatic (AKA the person who starts playing “All I Want For Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey at 12:01 on November 1st).  Whether you go with a faux-colorful tree or a real tree, a little bit of greenery during these dreary months can be all it takes to put someone in the holly jolly spirit.

With these affordable decorations, your room will be looking festive in no time and it will encourage you to stay inside during these difficult months. Remember to stay safe and happy holidays!
