It feels like every time a new album drops, artists try to find bigger and better ways to promote it. One day, it’s a surprise single, the next, it’s a cryptic social media teaser. Sometimes it’s even a last-minute performance somewhere no one expects.

But recently, there has been a new way for artists to connect with fans: Pop-up experiences. Instead of streaming the songs alone in their rooms, fans can gather with other listeners who are just as excited. They can take photos, buy merchandise tied directly to the album, and experience the music in a space designed around it.

Instead of just listening to the album online, fans can now physically step into the world of the music. Harry Styles is the latest artist to embrace this idea with pop-ups celebrating his new album, Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally.

The pop-ups are designed as a full fan experience. Instead of simply selling merchandise, each location gives fans the chance to explore the themes and vibe of the album itself. Inside the pop-up, you can find a disco room playing the album, a greenhouse filled with plants, and many other photo opportunities.

There are spaces designed for photos, merchandise exclusive to the pop-up, and listening stations where fans can hear the new songs. The entire setup feels less like a store and more like stepping inside Harry’s creative world.

The album itself officially came out on March 6, and the pop-ups opened at the same time. Most of the locations ran from March 6 through March 8, giving fans a short window to experience everything in person.

And while the events are temporary, they are happening all over the world. Major cities like Los Angeles, New York City, and London were obvious stops, but the pop-ups also reached places like Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Miami, Atlanta, and Seattle. International fans were included as well, with locations in Toronto, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Sydney, and Tokyo.

The pop-ups also show how album promotion is changing. In the past, artists relied mostly on interviews, radio play, and television performances to promote new music. Now, creating interactive experiences has become just as important. Social media plays a huge role in this as well. Fans visiting these pop-ups are naturally posting photos and videos online, which spreads the excitement even further.

For Harry Styles, whose fanbase is known for showing up in big ways, the pop-ups feel like a natural extension of his relationship with listeners. So if you walked past a crowd lined up outside a small storefront between March 6 and March 8, there is a good chance it was not just a random shop.

It was Harry’s latest house party. And for a few days, fans around the world got an invitation inside.
