Introducing Jenn Tran
Jenn Tran, your newest bachelorette is here and ready, serving us the major main character energy we need this summer. The 26-year-old from Miami, Florida is both a beauty and a personality who will be displayed on the big screen as the season 21 star. Jenn, aside from starring as the bachelorette, is also currently studying to become a physician assistant. Her season is an exciting one, she is the first Asian-American bachelorette, and she cannot wait to be the main character in her own love story. In just a few short weeks, 25 young, eligible bachelors will be fighting for Jenn’s heart. She is not wasting any time, she knows exactly what she’s looking for in her dream man. Jenn tells show host Jesse Palmer during the Bachelor season finale, “I’m looking for someone who has a big personality… I want someone who has that kind of banter.” Luckily, for us, we won’t be waiting long to watch Jenn find love, you can tune into her season as soon as Monday, July 8th at 8 pm on the ABC network.
Recap of Jenn’s time on The Bachelor
Jenn started off her franchise experience by ditching the iconic limo arrival and rode up to the bachelor mansion in a go-kart to meet the season 28 bachelor, Joey Graziadei. The bachelor joined her on the cutest first impression date as they raced around the mansion, showing us Jenn’s fun-loving self. After Jenn revealed she took a break from her career after finding out he was the lead, proving she was truly there for the right reasons. Their instant connection and undeniable chemistry were seen by fans on the sweetest first date, as Joey invited Jenn on a surfing date, helping her overcome her fear of sharks. As each week went by, Jenn and Joey’s connection grew stronger, and Jenn was ready to bring Joey home. But her journey with Joey came to a heartbreaking end the week leading up to hometowns when Jenn didn’t receive a rose, leaving her empty-handed and crushed.
The Men of Jenn’s Season
Now Jenn is in the driver's seat of her love story and is searching for the perfect man. So, let's meet some of the bachelors fighting for Jenn’s heart this season. Starting with a familiar face for Bachelor fans, Aaron, a 29-year-old aerospace engineer whose twin brother, a franchise favorite, Noah Erb found love on “Bachelor in Paradise.” Aaron enjoys lake days, golf, and volleyball and says he’s ready to meet the girl of his dreams. Grant is a former pro basketball player who now works as a day trader in Houston Texas. He loves watching the Lakers, bowling, and singing karaoke. Grant’s excited to possibly fall in love again and can’t wait to meet Jenn. Jahaan, a NYC local who founded his own company, made the Forbes 30 under 30 has now shifted focus to finding love and is ready for that special someone. Jahaan is a family man and is hoping to start his own with the right girl. These are just a few of the eligible young bachelors who are ready to meet Jenn, so make sure you tune in on July 8th to watch Jenn’s deserving season of love!
Jenn’s Pick as Bachelorette
Jenn’s bubbly personality and authenticity about her family along with her connection with Joey quickly made her a fan favorite. But, Jenn’s pick as bachelorette did come as a shock to Bachelor Nation as Maria Georgas was expected to take on the role. Instead, she declined to return to the franchise. Rumors also swirled around Bachelor Nation that the runner-up of season 28, Daisy Kent was the next bachelorette but she also declined, stating, “...this specific opportunity wasn’t right for me right now.” Jenn's pick was announced by Charity Lawson, the former bachelorette during the “After the Final Rose '' finale, which put the rumors to rest. Jenn is ready to find love, putting her career on the back burner, hoping her season ends with an engagement and that she finds her “perfect match.” Jenn recalls her time on Joey’s season stating, “It didn’t end the way I wanted to but I grew and I learned so much from it,” clearly, Jenn is ready to star in her journey to love.
